LPR Little Jazzy Rey is a 2017 registered AQHA gelding. “Jazzy” is a “work horse”. He’s a willing worker in everything we’ve done on him. He’s day worked a lot and is a favorite for it, being quick and quiet at just the right times. He’s done more pasture roping than arena roping but handles for both, and is very fast, if you can rope it he will get you to it!
He also runs barrels and we have hauled him as far as Oklahoma for the BBR world finals. Jazzy is very easy to run, plenty of rate along with the speed.
We have haulded him to the mountains in New Mexico and he handled them well. He was shown in Ranch Trail where he handled and scored nicely even though he is not a show horse.
As far as his quirks go:
Jazzy has always been cinchy, and will set back if you pull your cinch too tight too fast.
He can be cold backed, especially when it’s cool or he’s had time off, easing into the ride has worked best for managing that.
And he backs out of the trailer fast.
LPR Little Jazzy Rey would be the ideal horse for a working cowboy, he can go all day and is good at it too.
He is UTD on vaccines, teeth float and coggins.
